Are you intrigued by the mysteries hidden within a cemetery at twilight? 

The Fairview Area Historical Society (FAHS) invites the community to join representatives for the “Local Lore Cemetery Tour,” an unforgettable evening of history, mystery, and spine-chilling tales

The tour will lead participants through a significant portion of Fairview Cemetery as knowledgeable guides share stories about some of the cemetery’s more fascinating residents and the unusual circumstances surrounding their final resting places. Were they local heroes, war heroes, victims of tragic circumstances, poor decision makers, or involved in mysterious events? The FAHS has all the dirt on these historic burials.

Join us for a unique evening exploring the lives, legends, and legacies of notable Fairview citizens from the past while strolling among the historic gravestones.

Guests should meet at the Fairview Cemetery Chapel, where doors will open at 6:00 p.m. The walking tour will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Admission: $15 per person
Payment: Cash or check to be paid upon arrival for the tour

Participants should come prepared for an evening walk by wearing sturdy footwear suitable for uneven ground and bringing a flashlight. Parking is recommended along Maple Street.
