DESCRIPTION:This is the Annual Membership Meeting for the Fairview Area Historical Society. \nWhat a wonderful way to cap the amazing summer of 2026! \nAll Members are encouraged to attend our lively picnic at the wonderful Brugger House at the Avonia Beach Park. You’re encouraged to bring an dish\, a side\, or a desert to share with six or more people. The FAHS will provide beverages\, utensils\, plates\, and napkins. \nThe Brugger House will open at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be a potluck buffet at 6 pm. Following dinner and desert\, we will have the annual membership meeting to reflect on 2026 and discuss direction for 2027.  \nWe will pull the final winners of the 200 CLUB Lottery.  \nThis is for Members\, their family and friends. This is not open to the public. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Help with two lifesaving causes!  \nWe have partnered with the ERIE COMMUNITY BLOOD BANK & GIFT OF LIFE MARROW REGISTRY.  \nOn September 25th\, the Sturgeon House will be converted into a blood drive center and a bone marrow & stem cell donor registry drive. Stop by during the hours of  3 pm to 7 pm and give the gift of life.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou Could Be Someone’s Lifesaving Match\nGift of Life Marrow Registry connects volunteer donors with patients battling blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma who may need a lifesaving bone marrow or stem cell transplant. Joining the registry is simple—just complete a brief questionnaire and swab the inside of your cheek. No needles are needed to register! This mission recently touched our own community when a local resident’s son was matched with a patient and donated bone marrow.
