Second Day of Shipwrecks Exhibit…

An incredible photographic exhibit will be on display at the Sturgeon House on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, September 15 from Noon to 4 p.m. Titled “Fascinating, Haunting and Mysterious Photography of Lake Erie Shipwrecks,” the exhibit is all the work of diver Jeremy Bannister. Some photos are of shipwrecks that are hundreds of years old.
Also at the Sturgeon House this weekend is the WWII 505th Parachute Unit (reenactors) who will encamp on the side lawn. They will be giving demonstrations, executing drills and sharing their special knowledge. They will be on the lawn during the same hours as the exhibit.
The public is invited to visit with the reenactors then come inside the Sturgeon House to see the wonders of the “undersea.” Admission is free.
